Sweet smell of success

There are many things that interest people, diverse media we spend our time on and a plethora of elements to motivate us. What excites me is the depth of a man or an event ~ the reasons, hopes and dreams. Why people do what they do. What makes you and me unique.
I met a man whose passion in music is undeniable. He lives and breathes it. He had become restless because, in his mind, his vision had caused him to lose the faith of someone dear in his life. I couldn’t bear to see him suspended between regret and “what ifs”, as I myself have endured a similar fate for awhile.
What started as a man’s dream yielded success, friendship, an experience that truly is memorable, and ignited further desires in our souls. With a small dream and great ideas we pushed through a six-month plan that involved hard work, discipline, patience, sharing our blessings and putting our faith in our valuable team which included friends and families.
Our Sweet Mojo three-piece band tour in the Philippines was testimony that anything is possible with faith, love, determination and prayers. I cannot forget the smiles we gave to the less fortunate Filipinos in the barrios and towns as we showed them that someone cared.
I remember looking at the boys overwhelmed by the motorcade and adoration of fans as if it was just yesterday. Most of all, I cannot forget band leader Oliver’s face on his last performance of the tour as he was singing one of his original compositions. His eyes glimmered, and with renewed spirit I know that in his mind he was saying: “We have done it!”

Great stuff Bless.
I am sure the locals had a great time and I can just imagine the thrill the boys got out of the tour and seeing the locals enjoying themselves.
All the best

Hi Bless,
Glad to see you’re doing it again, just like the old days. I’m proud of you and hoping to see more of that passion, depth, originality, raw honesty and humour of yours come into fusion here.
Although I have not had the chance to see the band face to face, I listened to their music and I could understand why you have faith in their songs and why people find them appealing – I must agree Oliver is one great artist.
More power to your new endeavours and my prayers to all of you!

Hi Jaime,
Yes, it has been a wonderful journey and it injected more enthusiasm for us (individually) to take it to the next level.
Thank you for the best wishes!

Hi Francis,
Yup! Polishing the old bike again. I don’t know if I still have the same flair but I will definitely try to squeeze it out.
The boys did really well. You should see the new song/video Oliver and I made – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1VBdkKjzOA
Hope you like it and looking forward to chat more!
